BUG Exploratory Rides

As you know our goal is safe cycling and including good infrastructure in the Townsville City Council (TCC) area to increase local cycling participation. Townsville bicycle riders use bicycles for a variety of reasons including recreation, commuting to work/school, general transport, and sporting pursuits. The majority of these riders rely on bicycling infrastructure on roads and shared paths, and as such exploratory rides appraising the current infrastructure were initiated. We collated the information in the attached document.

We invite you to come along to future rides. You don’t need to be fit, we move slow and work in bite-size chunks of principal cycle network. Input from all types of riders is welcome, from lycra to baskets. All rides are on Fridays, 4pm – 6pm, and we try to finish on a social note. Please contact us via townsvillebug.president@gmail.com or townsvillebug.secretary@gmail.com if you are interested in coming along.

Please have a look at the Exploratory Rides Collated March 2019.pdf and let us know if you would like to come along to any of the following rides:
